LONGMONT - Front Range Community College named Linda Curran its vice president of the Boulder County campus effective Aug. 12.

Curran will oversee campus operations, represent the college throughout Boulder County and serve as a member of the College President's Cabinet, helping shape collegewide policies.

"Linda brings a diverse set of skills and experiences to FRCC, the result of a unique trajectory in higher education," said Andy Dorsey, president of Front Range. "I'm grateful to the members of the Boulder County campus and the community who provided important feedback after the community forums with all the candidates."

Curran has lived in Colorado for 20 years and has held cabinet-level posts at Mesa State College and Metropolitan State College of Denver. For the past two years, she has served as Metro's interim provost, after three years as associate vice president for curriculum and programs.
