BOULDER - Nancy Blanchard is relaunching the Bliss brand of organic ice cream.
Blanchard, a resident of Boulder County for 10 years, bought the rights to the brand in September, found a new kitchen and now is focusing on marketing, product development and expanding distribution.
“I was a loyal customer of the ice cream before taking over the company ,and now I’m ecstatic to be living out my culinary loves and running my own business," Blanchard said in press release. "I have so many ideas on new flavors and new market opportunities. I am looking forward to expanding this unique brand and product line."
Bliss Organic LLC was founded in 2004 by Kim Troy. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bliss is made of all-organic ingredients and comes in nine flavors for about $4.99 per pint at Whole Foods, King Soopers, Lucky's, Lolita's, Niwot Market and Proto's Pizza.
