LONGMONT - Jill Smith is opening a Lillians, The Hippest Shoppe in Town, franchise in Longmont.

The store is at 1240 Ken Pratt Blvd., No.1A and will hold a grand opening celebration May 7-10.

Lillians, based in Plymouth, Minn. Has 28 stores in the U.S. and Smith's is the first one in Colorado.

The store will feature designer-inspired handbags, flat wallets, sunglasses, jewelry and other seasonal items. They will follow the brand's unique "occasional sale" concept, opening its doors the first Thursday through Sunday each month, year-round.
