Superior-based Key Equipment Finance Inc., a bank-held equipment finance company affiliated with KeyCorp. (NYSE: KEY), has named Noah Ahn-O’Connor vice president/information strategist, a role in which he will build and leverage quantitative and business analytics. Ahn-O’Connor recently was a senior sales operations manager for GE Capital.
Boulder-based N30 Pharmaceuticals Inc. hired Dr. Sherif Gabriel to its senior leadership team. Gabriel had been on the faculty of the University of North Carolina Cystic Fibrosis Center, director of the center’s Correction Core and associate professor in the department of pediatrics’ division of pulmonology.
The Louisville Chamber of Commerce appointed Ryan Knott, Karen Pickering and Wayne A. Varra to its board of directors. Knott moved to Louisville in 1989 and earned a degree in business finance in 2010 at Metropolitan State University in Denver. Pickering has been a commercial insurance agent in Boulder County since 1999. Varra, a native of Louisville and a charter member of the chamber, has worked in insurance and financial services for 47 years.
Naropa University in Boulder elected Jerry Colonna chairman of the university’s board of trustees. Colonna replaces longtime board chairman Marty Janowitz, who had stepped in as interim chairman during the recent presidential search process. Colonna is a certified professional coach who helps clients design a more conscious life and career and established his coaching practice in 2007. The board’s executive committee will now consist of Jim Rosen, vice chairman; Lynne Katzmann, secretary; Thomas Hast, treasurer; and Janowitz, immediate past chairman. The board also voted Nicholas Ballinger as the student trustee, Deb Piranian as the faculty trustee, and elected new board member Diane Israel.
Boulder-based cloud identity company Symplified Inc. appointed Brian Czarny vice president for marketing. Czarny most recently led product management and product strategy for Webroot Software Inc., a maker of cloud-based anti-malware products for consumers and businesses.
Boulder-based ColdQuanta Inc., a commercial supplier of Bose-Einstein Condensate and cold atom generating systems and equipment, hired Joan Wright as controller. She has more than 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting fields.
Imagine!, which serves individuals with cognitive disabilities in Boulder and Broomfield counties, has elected three new board members: Ron Alford, Northrop Grumman; Trent Gustafson, Bank of Commerce Mortgage; and Laura Koch, accountant.
I Have a Dream Boulder County, which helps children from low-income families achieve their education and career goals, has elected six new board members: Marilyn Lozano, Amgen Inc.; Jane McConnell, freelance writer; David Meza-Castorena, Leeds School of Business; Jack Mills, Ascent Sports; Mary P. Szarmach, Smoker Friendly International; Tim Wojtalik, BSW Wealth Partners.
Neal Topper joined Boulder-based electric-bicycle maker Opti-Bike LLC and will help customers select the correct bicycle.
AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) named Lonnie Emmons Jr. director of sales for its Colorado Mobility operations. Emmons previously held the position of area retail sales manager for southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. Emmons, who started his career with AT&T as a call-center representative, earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, will reside in Denver.
