Boulder County still has 5.7% jobless rate
Colorado’s unemployment rate is now equal to the national unemployment rate, the department said. In October 2011, Colorado’s unemployment rate was 8.1 percent, and the national rate was 8.9 percent.
In Boulder County, the unemployment rate remained level at 5.7 percent, which was the best of any well-populated county in the state.
Broomfield County’s rate fell one-tenth of a percentage point to 6.9 percent in October, and it is down from 7.1 percent in October 2011.
