Hilltop Plaza is a four-story retail/office building at 1310 College Ave. in The Hill shopping district. It includes a seven-restaurant food court, College Corner, which is a CU-themed clothing store, The Princeton Review TSI Inc. testing company and office suites.
"Chase Bank's new location at Hilltop Plaza shows that national retailers are recognizing the high-traffic levels and access to the CU community that The Hill shopping district provides to retailers," Karen Clarke, vice president at Transwestern Denver, a Houston-based commercial real estate firm with offices in Denver and Boulder, said in a press statement.
Hilltop Plaza has welcomed five new tenants in recent months, including Boulder Salad, Young Suk LLC doing business as Goody Monster, Pedersen Architects LLP and The Princeton Review. All of the new Hilltop leases were brokered by Karen Clarke and Bucky Dilts at Transwestern Denver. College Corner recently opened an expanded store at Hilltop Plaza.
Several new businesses have opened nearby recently. In the last six months or so, Cita's LLC, doing business as Zanitas Mexican restaurant, opened at 1352 College Ave., Geisty's Dogg House restaurant and bar opened at 1116 13th St., Grenadier LLC advertising and marketing agency opened at 1221 Pennsylvania Ave., and a 7-Eleven convenience store opened at the southwest corner of 13th Street and College Avenue.
In the Chase Bank lease, Clarke and Dilts represented the landlord - GCP Hilltop Plaza LLC - an investment affiliate of Green Courte Partners LLC. Brian Shorter and Michael Kendall of SullivanHayes represented Chase Bank.
