Longmont-based Parascript LLC, a machine-print, handprint and cursive-recognition technology provider, launched CheckPlus International for France 3.0 to help integrators and financial institutions validate the presence of fields on checks in accordance with the monetary and financial code established by the French government. The software validates the presence of the amount, payee, check creation date, account holder signature and other fields on the front and back of checks, and automates check processing.

Boulder-based Techtionary Corp., a 2012 Boulder County Business Report IQ Awards finalist, announced a new release of its iFlipTips college study and corporate training mobile app for iPhone and iPad. The app is available on iTunes. New features include iFlipCal, which organizes study, meetings and other events into a calendar with reminders, and iFlipPads, multicolored post notes that can be shared on social media.
