Fate's 'brew-bistro' opens Monday night
Fate Brewing Co. opens Monday night at its 7,000-square-foot restaurant at 1600 38th St. in east Boulder.
Fate Brewing management calls it "Boulder's first brew-bistro." For the opening, it is partnering with Boulder breweries such as Avery Brewing Co., Twisted Pine Brewery and Boulder Beer on collaboratively made beers, according to a release from the company.
The company will begin brewing its own brews this month, and plans a release party in March.
Fate Brewing is owned by Mike Lawinski. Jeff Griffith is head brewer, and Tim Berry is head chef.
The space formerly was home to Jose Muldoon's restaurant and had been vacant for several years. It has been extensively remodeled to include a 3,000-square-foot brewery. It has interior seating room for 200, and its patio area has room for 90, the release said.
