Open house Saturday at medical center
The center is at the hospital's Foothills Campus, 4743 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder.
Board-certified cardiologists of Rocky Mountain Cardiology and Colorado Cardiovascular Center have joined forces and moved to the center to form the hospital's comprehensive heart program, which is called Boulder Heart. It provides services in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology.
BCH is the only medical facility in Boulder County that performs open-heart surgery. It also has the only electrophysiology lab for treating heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias).
The tour will include information about the physicians who will be relocating to the center: Alpine Surgical, Alpine Urology, Boulder Neurosurgical and Spine Associates, and general surgeons Charles Jones and Susan Skaff Hagen.
