Bank branch offers gifts to first customers
The Loveland-based bank will open its newest branch at 565 W. South Boulder Road on Monday, Feb. 25. Customers opening the first 100 new bank accounts can choose either the Kindle or Keurig on the spot, said Jack Devereaux, the bank's chairman.
Five employees will staff the new location, with another two joining soon, Devereux said. The bank plans to hold a formal grand opening on Friday, April 5, he said.
The new location is Home State Bank's 11th branch. Home State Bank is the largest locally owned bank in Larimer County, with about $677 million in assets and about 200 employees. The bank's current 10 locations in Colorado include a Longmont branch.
