Kapost partners with webinar provider

Kapost has integrated ReadyTalk's webinar features into its platform, which Kapost believes will improve users' marketing campaigns by giving them more tools to make webinars more effective and provide analytics on their performance. The companies announced the partnership in a press release issued Feb. 21.
Kapost bills itself as a content-marketing software platform that uses content "to drive more web visitors, nurtured leads and new sales," according to its website.
Kapost Inc. is a graduate of the TechStars Boulder class of 2010, and, according to its company description on the TechStars website, originally was focused on providing software-as-a-service tools to media companies to help them manage assignments, editing and payments. It since has expanded to provide its tools to nonmedia brands that want to publish original online content as part of their marketing campaigns.
The company has raised $2.6 million, including a $1.5 million Series B round in January 2012. Investors include High Country Venture, a Boulder-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies based in Colorado, and Highway 12 Ventures.
ReadyTalk is a Denver-based company that was founded in 2000. The company delivers audio and web conferencing services that can scale from impromptu meetings of a few people to large webinars.
Kapost is not the first Boulder startup to partner with ReadyTalk. SurveyGizmo, which develops online survey tools, has been partnering with ReadyTalk since last summer. The SurveyGizmo features allow ReadyTalk users to conduct polls and gather feedback from viewers of webinars they are hosting, and SurveyGizmo users can embed video from ReadyTalk webinars into their surveys.
SurveyGizmo is a trade name of Widgix LLC, which is a fast-growing bootstrapped company founded in 2006.
Kapost and ReadyTalk could not be reached for comment.
