Boconoco rebrands as Colorado Job Base
Kris Erlewine, president and CEO of Boulder-based Colorado Job Base, www.coloradojobbase.com, said the site lists approximately 5,800 jobs.
Colorado Job Base has sourced 50,000-plus jobs since its founding in 2010. Through a weekly research sweep across thousands of employer career sites, Colorado Job Base locates approximately 800 new opportunities each week, Erlewine said.
"We have determined the majority of knowable job opportunities are found on employer career sites and not major job boards such as LinkedIn, Monster or Career Builder," Erlewine said. "For every job listed on those boards, nine jobs are not. Most job seekers miss approximately 90 percent of the total job market. The problem is the bulk of these jobs are spread across thousands of employer career sites. Our solution is to aggregate those jobs into a single searchable database through people-based research."
Job seekers may access the Colorado Job Base by visiting www.coloradojobbase.com and registering for free as a job seeker. Employers seeking to announce open positions may register for free as an employer. Currently, Colorado Job Base is offering three free job postings for new employers.
Past employers using Colorado Job Base have included Anheuser-Busch, Hewlett-Packard Co., Lijit Networks Inc., NextFoods LLC, Rally Software Development Corp., Spectra Logic Inc., Standing Cloud Inc., University of Colorado and Wiland Direct Inc.
