Boulder-based natural foods company Justin’s Nut Butter LLC won the Natural Products Expo West’s Best of West: Press Award in Anaheim, California. The new, individually wrapped Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups swept first place at the 33rd annual exposition, the industry’s largest event of the year. Justin’s was one of 2,438 natural and organic product exhibitors at the show this year, which attracted more than 63,000 natural industry retailers, distributors, affiliates, consumers and industry professionals.

Louisville-based Jen’s Zen LLC received the Best New Vegan Product award at Natural Products Expo West for its Jen’s Zen Chocolate Sauce, a fudge sauce that is dairy and gluten-free based on owner Jen Lane’s family recipe that uses coconut milk as a base.

Longmont United Hospital received the Healthyroads Fit Co. Gold Award from American Specialty Health Inc., a national health-services organization that provides fitness, exercise and healthy-aging programs, population health solutions and specialty health-care programs.

Broomfield-based Level 3 Communications Inc. received the 2012 U.S. Growth Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan for dedicated Internet access services. Based on Frost & Sullivan’s analysis, Level 3 has grown its market share at industry-leading rates over the last three years. Level 3 also was recognized for innovation in online dedicated Internet access service capabilities, which enable customers and prospects to easily navigate and streamline their service experience.
