BOULDER — With the state's lowest foreclosure rate, an unemployment rate far lower than that of most of the state or nation, and its growing national status as a mecca for venture capital, Boulder County has been basking in good economic news.

That news was beginning to be reflected in high-end home sales in the county in 2012.

"We've already had more high-end home sales so far this year than in the first six months last year, said David Scott of Colorado Landmark Realtors in Boulder. "Sales above $2 million may still be gloomier than the rest of the market, but it's certainly getting better."

Here, according to Loveland-based IRES LLC, are the 10 most expensive detached single-family residences sold in Boulder County last year:
