Boulder-based Sargent Bickham Lagudis LLC promoted Kreighton Bieger, a chartered financial analyst, to director of research, in addition to his current position as senior portfolio manager and financial analyst. His responsibilities will include assisting the chief investment officer in managing the firm's research process and resources for common stocks, mutual funds and fixed income investments.
Boulder-based Capstone Performance Systems, a division of Altitude Edge, hired Matthew Zimmerman as a risk adjustment consultant. Zimmerman has experience in enrollment and other health-plan management functions that impact Medicare revenue. Zimmerman will help clients improve their processes to avoid mistakes in request for payment.
Boulder-based Outlast Technologies LLC hired Madhumihika Verma as lab chemist, Erin Clark as marketing manager and Patrica Harroche as office manager. Verma has more than five years of experience working with fibers, film composites, alloys and blends. Clark will be responsible for client relationship management. She previously worked for Zenman Productions where she served as an account manager for new business ventures. Harroche will be responsible for day-to-day office operations and trafficking licensee agreements and identify efficiencies. She previously worked for Venturi Technologies in customer service.
Boulder-based Radish Systems LLC hired Kim Koeller as senior director of customer experience, and Radish promoted John Putnam to director of marketing. Koeller has more than 25 years of global customer experience management, multi-channel contact center and IT consulting expertise. Putnam specializes in online digital marketing, market and trends research, sales support and software developer relations.
Waleed Abdalati was named director of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, or CIRES, a joint institute of the University of Colorado-Boulder and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Abdalati is a CIRES fellow, a CU-Boulder professor of geography and director of the CIRES Earth Science and Observation Center. Abdalati's research focuses on using satellites and aircraft to understand how Earth's ice cover, particularly glaciers and ice sheets, is changing and what those changes mean for life on the planet.
Senior judge and mediator W. Terry Ruckriegle will serve a one-year term as president of the Colorado Bar Association beginning July 1, representing the association's 18,515 members. The former 5thJudicial District chief judge will focus his term on issues relating to young lawyers: the financial burden they assume, examining options to pay down or forgive their loan debt and ensuring those new to the profession have the skills necessary to enter the workplace prepared.
Loren Brown, an attorney with Donelson Ciancio & Grant PC in Broomfield, was elected chairman of the board for the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training, or COBALT, executive committee. COBALT is a leadership training program designed for lawyers with demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to the legal community. Also, Steve Donelson, an attorney with the firm, was elected to the Westminster Legacy Foundation's board of directors. The foundation distributes funds for public needs in the areas of youth programs, senior programs, open space and parks, education and library services, public safety, cultural arts, social services, community relations and historical legacy.
Boulder-based nonprofit Attention Homes hired Brittny Wilson as development director. Wilson has more than 12 years of nonprofit experience including program development, marketing and fundraising. She has worked at Bead for Life in Boulder, Women's Bean Project in Denver and most recently as development director for Watershed School in Boulder. Wilson replaces Allison Disbrow, who after seven years with Attention Homes, is relocating with her family to Kansas.
Broomfield resident and Realtor Steve Cramer was given the status of Realtor Emeritus by the National Association of Realtors at its 2013 midyear legislative meetings in Washington, D.C. The status is granted to Realtors who have maintained membership for 40 years and who have made significant contributions to the real estate industry and their community. Kramer, managing broker of Exit One Realty in Westminster, has participated in more 4,000 transactions during his career and has served as director, treasurer and president of the North Metro Denver Association of Realtors. He also has served as a director of the Colorado Association of Realtors for more than15 years. He is a national trainer of several real estate specialties.
