Boulder gives break on some permit fees
Last Updated: 15:46 September 23, 2013
The city announced that it has created a special 2013 Flood Recovery, Restoration and Repair Permit, for which no fee will be charged. The subsequent inspection of work done also will be done free of charge as the city tries to make sure flood damage is properly addressed.
City and county taxes associated with repairs still will have to be paid.
Affected property owners can download, print and fill out the special permit form at www.boulderplandevelop.net, and then apply for and receive the permit in person at the Planning and Development Services Center at 1739 Broadway.
Some flood-related permits, depending on the nature and scope of the work involved, will still be charged a fee and won't be eligible for the expedited process.
