Masia will provide insight into the Boulder-based society's newest campaign, Project Digitize, a program that will digitize and share all of the society's research material gathered during the past 60 years. The group intends to raise money through a Kickstarter program to help fund the project.
The society was founded in 1954 as a forum for bringing renewable-energy innovators together to promote their technologies. Today, it plays a role in energy education and policy development.
The event includes beverages, hors d'oeuvres and music by Jamesons Co-Dependent Country Band. Cost is $30. Purchase tickets online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/465987.
