"Cultural Caffeine" is a series of panels and events slated for Thursday, Oct. 24, and Friday, Oct. 25, that will be put on by graduates of the university's advertising program, according to a press announcement from CU-Boulder. Panelists will focus on the "explosion of technology, creativity and innovation" currently taking place in the advertising industry.
"It is important for current students to have a vision for their future after graduation. We hope these conversations will help students understand the many paths they can explore within the creative industries," said Melinda Cheval, Journalism and Mass Communication advertising instructor, in the press statement.
Speakers will include Kelly Graziadei, CU class of 1997, director of global marketing solutions at Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) based in Menlo Park, California; and Jason Hoff, CU class of 2000, creative director for digital integration at Grey Worldwide, a New York advertising firm.
