Food Share extends relief to flood victims

Distributions are being held Tuesdays, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Community Food Share, 650 S. Taylor Ave., in the Colorado Technology Center in Louisville.
Residents impacted by the floods are asked to bring their FEMA or Red Cross letter or case number, stating that they have been registered for flood-relief assistance, and a photo ID at each distribution.
Examples of food available include fresh fruits and vegetables, cereal, fresh milk, yogurt, frozen meat, snacks and water. Distribution is "client select" - a grocery store setting that allows individuals to choose food for themselves and their families. Gift cards are available while supplies last.
