Report: Hydroponic food production to rise

The seven-person consulting company conducts research on environmentally sustainable topics from around the globe, said Carol Stimmel, founder and chief executive. Manifest Mind's customers have included the Ministry of Energy in Canada, she said.

Stimmel founded the company in 2012. She and some of her employees previously worked at clean-energy research firms such as Navigant Research in Boulder.
