Industrial building in Boulder changes hands

The buyer bought the mostly empty building from Valmont Partnership RLLLP, a group of investors. Jim Smith of Preferred Properties in Denver represented the seller, while Chris Jensen of Vista Commercial represented the buyer in the deal.
Jensen said Friday that he couldn't disclose details about the identity of the buyer. But he did say the owners purchased the building so they could move out of some leased space and continue to grow their business in Boulder, though no timeline is clear.
5660 Valmont Road LLC, according to documents filed with the Colorado Secretary of State's office, has a street address of 4775 Walnut St., Suite C, the same address online retailer Vickerey lists on its site.
Vickerey sells clothing, yoga supplies and other wares at Vickerey.com. Vickerey is a trade name registered to Sky Blue Enterprises Inc., which also has a principal street address of 4775 Walnut St., Suite C, listed with the Secretary of State's office.
Vickerey officials could not be reached Friday.
Jensen said Jim Morris Environmental T-Shirt Co., leases about 3,500 square feet in the Valmont Road building and will continue to do so. The rest of the building, Jensen said, has been mostly vacant for several months.
