Todd Peyok was hired as vice president for commercial lending and Ron Pino was promoted to senior commercial loan officer at Boulder-based Elevations Credit Union. Peyok has 26 years of commercial lending experience on the Front Range, and Pino has 13 years of experience in consumer and commercial lending.
Boulder-based biopharma miRagen Therapeutics Inc. appointed Dr. David Rodman executive vice president of research and development. Rodman has more than 25 years of experience in “bench to bedside” research, or taking basic scientific discoveries to clinical applications and then on to commercialization of a product. Rodman is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, was named a fellow and established investigator of the American Heart Association and was a founding member of the Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutics Development Network.
Louisville-based RGS Energy (Nasdaq: RGSE), a provider of turnkey solar-energy solutions for residential, commercial and utility customers, appointed Dennis Lacey to the new position of senior vice president of finance. He will be responsible for implementing and managing the company’s residential lease financing program. Lacey has more than 25 years of executive financial management experience. He previously held executive financial positions at Imperial Bancorp, TeleTech and CKE Restaurants. Early in his career he was an audit partner at Coopers & Lybrand.
New York-based WSP USA, an engineering design and environmental consultancy, promoted Evan. A. Evans to senior vice president. Evans works out of WSP’s office in Boulder.
Boulder-based Tapinfluence Inc., a provider of software for content management, appointed Jim Franklin and Matt Larson to its board of directors. Franklin is chief executive of Boulder-based SendGrid Inc., and Larson is CEO of Iridium Software Inc. in Superior. He previously was founder and CEO of Boulder-based Confio Software, which was acquired in 2013 by Solar Winds.
Gloria Canales was hired as channel marketing manager and Todd Leveque was hired as sales director for the north central United States and Canada at Longmont-based document capture company Parascript LLC.
Broomfield-based Vail Resorts Inc. (NYSE: MTN) appointed Tina Sampson as vice president of group sales. Sampson most recently served as senior vice president of Maritz Travel Co. and previously held leadership roles with Gaylord Hotels, and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. She was director of sales and marketing of Keystone Hospitality from 2002 to 2004. In addition, she has served professionally as an executive speaker, consultant, facilitator and coach. Sampson received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and a master’s in business administration from the Robert O. Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico.
John McElderry was named executive manager of the Good Samaritan Society’s Water Valley Senior Living Resort in Windsor. He has 20 years of experience in leadership positions in various senior service organizations including home health care, assisted and independent living, and holds a master’s degree in gerontology and long-term care management.
Attorney Myles S. Johnson joined Otis & Peters, LLC in Greeley. A graduate of Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado, he received his law degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder School of Law, where he was a quarter-finalist in the 2012 Carrigan Cup Mock Trial Competition. Johnson previously owned his own law firm in Denver after serving as an extern law clerk at the Boulder litigation firm of Gard & Bond LLC, and a legal intern at Centennial telecommunication company Verio Inc.
Loveland-based Lightning Hybrids, maker of hydraulic hybrids systems for medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses, appointed Dave Brosky vice president of sales. Brosky brings more than 25 years of experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle markets, most recently with Bosch Rexroth Corp. in charge of business development, sales and marketing for its hydraulic hybrid solutions. He will be based in Detroit and is charged with building the distribution network and fleet sales.
Longmont-based nonprofit First Nations Development Institute, an advocate for Native Americans, elected Susan Jenkins to its board of directors for a one-year term. Jenkins lives in rural western North Carolina, where she moved to help the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians start the Cherokee Preservation Foundation. An enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation, Jenkins holds a doctorate in sociology from the University of Georgia.
Gene O’Hara, director of the Monfort Executive Professor Program at the University of Northern Colorado’s College of Business in Greeley, was appointed to the board of directors for Colorado Access, a Denver-based, nonprofit health plan serving more than 500,000 members in Colorado and Wyoming. He also will serve on the boards of corporate subsidiaries Access Diversified Services Inc. and New Health Ventures Inc. Prior to joining UNC, he served for more than 30 years as a health system executive.
Via, a nonprofit organization based in Boulder that provides transportation and mobility options for older adults and people with disabilities in 19 communities in five Colorado counties, announced the election of three members to its volunteer board of directors. They are Marie Gambon, vice president for people for Boulder Brands Inc.; Scott Gresser, vice president and chief financial officer of TRU Community Care, and Sharon Svendsen, a solo practitioner specializing in estate planning and elder law.
Susan Kohut was hired as director of development and community relations for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. She has more than 15 years of development, sales, marketing and event-planning experience, and previously was director of development at Women’s Bean Project in Denver.
Boulder-based nonprofit Western Resource Advocates, a regional conservation organization appointed Jon Goldin-Dubois as president, effective in June. Goldin-Dubois will lead the organization in meeting its mission of protecting the West’s land, air and water with an emphasis on addressing climate change. He will develop and oversee initiatives with his staff that guard against water supply shortages, defend our natural resources, and reduce air and water pollution in Colorado, Arizona New Mexico, Nevada, Wyoming and Utah. He has nearly 25 years of experience in strategic advocacy, campaign leadership, grassroots organizing and policy development and analysis.
Blas Estrada, Matt Kurtz and Christopher Fry have joined Loveland-based The Group Inc. Real Estate as broker associates/partners. Estrada received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colorado State University. Previously, Estrada worked for the Matthews House in Fort Collins as a family and youth transition facilitator. Fry has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Previously, Fry designed and led international trips for an interdenominational Christian-missions organization. He also has experience as a counselor for various entities. Kurtz earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Colorado State University in 2012. The Group Inc. Real Estate has five locations in Fort Collins and Loveland.
