BOULDER -Englewood-based Sports Authority will be the official sporting goods retailer partner of the BolderBoulder 10K, the third-largest running race in the United States and seventh-largest in the world.

The race attracts more than 50,000 participants and draws professional racing teams from throughout the world. More than 100,000 spectators watch the festivities at this Memorial Day tradition in Boulder.

This year's race will be May 26.

Participants can register at local Sports Authority stores on select dates or pick up flyers and entry forms with more information about this year's race.

Participants will be able to pick up their race packets at stores in Boulder, Longmont, Westminster, Denver, Littleton, Glendale, Lakewood, Lone Tree, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and S.A. Elite by Sports Authority in Denver's Cherry Creek Shopping Center.

BolderBoulder runners will also receive a coupon for $10 off their purchase of $50 or more at any Sports Authority location in their race packet.

"There are many Sports Authority locations in Colorado where our participants will be able to pick up everything they need to run this year's BolderBoulder."

The BolderBoulder was first held in 1979 in the area around North Boulder Park. Today, the course finishes at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field.
