Service helps businesses bid on CDOT projects
Last Updated: 15:37 June 24, 2014
Connect2DOT, which is a program of the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network and an affiliate of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, is designed to help small businesses in the transportation industry become more competitive and successful in bidding and contracting with CDOT and other local transportation agencies.
The bid-matching service makes it easier for businesses to find relevant CDOT opportunities by sending a notification of construction projects when bid items match a company's NAICS code.
Instead of spending hours searching bidding websites trying to find relevant request for proposals, businesses are notified through a weekly email service with a list of new CDOT projects that match their offerings.
NAICS, short for North American Industry Classification System, is a business classification system that categorizes companies into industries defined by businesses that use similar production processes.
