Last Updated: 13:57 June 30, 2014
Solar Winds, a provider of information technology-management software, has moved its operations in Boulder from the headquarters of Confio Software, which was acquired by SolarWinds in 2013, to 5665 Flatiron Parkway, Suite 100.
The new office will become home to more than 60 employees and will continue to focus on the database management market as it expands.
"Our investment in our team in Boulder is a reflection of our continued commitment to our growing database management business as well as our appreciation for the talent in the area," said Kevin Thompson, Solar Winds’ president and chief executive.
SolarWinds acquired Confio in October 2013 for $103 million in cash and has since added Confio’s software into the SolarWinds family. SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer, formerly Confio Ignite, monitors SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and DB2 on both physical and VMware servers and identifies performance problems while isolating the root cause.
SolarWinds was established in 1999 and employs more than 1,400 people worldwide in North American and international offices, including Lehi, Utah; Singapore; Chennai, India; Cork, Ireland; Sydney, Australia; and Brno, Czech Republic, among others.
