BROOMFIELD - Gaiam Inc. (Nasdaq: GAIA) will collaborate with the Mayo Clinic to produce a series of DVDs focused on providing integrative health solutions for 10 chronic medical conditions.

The Mayo Clinic Wellness Solutions series will be created by Broomfield-based Gaiam and cover topics on obesity, type 2 diabetes, back pain, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, heart disease, menopause, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia and insomnia.

Hosted by Brent Bauer, director of the Complimentary and Integrative Medicine program at Mayo Clinic, each 90-minute DVD will feature Mayo Clinic experts offering insight into integrative medicine including the benefits of combining nontraditional therapies with conventional care to achieve optimal health.
