BCBR Poll
How should the city of Boulder secure its energy in the future?

Don't rock the boat: Renew franchise agreement with Xcel Energy that is set to expire Dec. 31.
Mix things up: Don't renew franchise agreement and let voters decide whether to place occupational tax on Xcel Energy that likely will be passed on to customers.
Go it alone: Purchase and take control of Boulder's electrical grid and buy power from independent energy suppliers and/or create energy generation system.
I've got a better idea. (Explain in comment box.)

Giving Guide

The Giving Guide describes
local nonprofits by category

The Giving Guide is an annual directory listing all nonprofits by category in Boulder and Broomfield counties. Several stories report on nonprofits’ impact to the local economy and describe corporate giving programs.
The Giving Guide was created by the Boulder County Business Report not only as the first published directory of local nonprofits, but as an excellent way for nonprofits
to reach the area’s business community.
With 21 different categories, from Arts and Culture to Human Services and Foundations, the Giving Guide allows nonprofits to purchase their own Nonprofit Profile,
describing their mission statement and their organization’s needs.

Area businesses also may sponsor Nonprofit Profiles, bringing publicity to a worthy organization while at the same time promoting the company’s support of
community giving.

The Giving Guide is published every March.
